Amanda Terry is a Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer for Metagood, which launched historic NFT collection OnChainMonkey. They were the first 10K PFP collection all on-chain in a single Ethereum transaction in Sept 2021. The digital art was "coded" into existence by Co-Founder and CEO Danny Yang who created the Stanford Bitcoin Meet up in 2013 and Maicoin, Taiwan's largest cryptocurrency exchange. They made history again as the first 10K NFT collection on Bitcoin in February 2023. Their mission is to use Web3 to create wealth for their community and empower them to do real world good. OnChainMonkey has a DAO funded with 2,000 ETH where their NFT holders can propose and vote for projects to get funded. They are one of the most industry leaders for NFTs on Bitcoin.
She is Managing Partner of ACTAI Ventures, an early stage venture fund she co-founded with legendary venture capitalist Bill Tai, for a global community of founders. The thesis is around digitization making industries more efficient and processes more scalable and replicable. They also believe tech can be a force for good and solve challenges aligned with the UN SDGs. She has been angel investing and co-investing with Bill since 2018 before she started the fund.
She has over 20 years of digital media sales and business development leadership experience from Twitter, NBC, Zagat (acquired by Google), 5min (acquired by AOL), TARGUSinfo (acquired by Neustar,) and Acxiom (acquired by IPG.) She’s a frequent speaker at tech and blockchain industry events including SXSW, West Tech Fest, NFT NYC, NFT LA, Vee Con, Ethereal Summit, and Camp Decrypt.
Amanda has helped drive community for 501c3 ACTAI Global including producing and hosting their Fireside Chat Series and gathering their community during the World Economic Forum in partnership with Consensys and Nima Capital, after being a member of the community since 2013 on her first kite surfing trip in Cabarete!
She has a BA from Princeton University in Public Policy and East Asian Studies and MBA from the Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania in Entrepreneurial Management and Finance.
