Annika Rose
Music Artist & Songwriter, Nvak Collective
At just 21 years old, Annika’s profound emotional intelligence and musical virtuosity far exceed her age. The LA-based singer-songwriter has a clarity of vision that’s rare even among the most established artists. After several tumultuous music industry experiences in her teens and the breakdown and life-changing reassembly of her family, Annika realized the only thing she could truly rely on was herself. Over the past two years, she has released her music independently, building a fanbase across all social platforms that is half a million strong and growing. Her work has evolved as she’s created a new soundscape for her undeniable lyrics and melodies.
Now, Annika is back with a new batch of music and a new approach to releasing it; utilizing web3 as a tool to explore and create greater extensions of her art, while building more meaningful and experiential connections with her fans. It has enabled her to speak on topics she cares about both inside and outside of the web3 space, bringing together thought leaders and artists alike on her weekly Twitter space series featuring: JagwarTwin, Hume Collective, Rhea Raj, Alec King, San Holo, and more.
Since venturing into the web3 space, Annika has had the opportunity to perform during NFT NYC and speak on panels hosted by WVRPs, Water & Music and Venice Music, showcasing her experience as an artist incorporating web3 innovations into her project. “Bruises”, Annika Rose’s first music NFT, sold out on pre-sale on sound.xyz, making Annika Rose the first artist to ever do so on the sound.xyz platform.
Since then she has sold out NFT collections on glass.xyz and sound.xyz in minutes, developed an engaged fan community through a unique POAP campaign, been featured on Adam Levy’s MINT podcast, and more as she gears up to launch a first of its kind Unreal Engine 5 virtual experience inspired by the lyrics of “Bruises” in 2023.
Parallel to that, Annika is currently gaining traction on TikTok for opening up about her journey in the music industry and her dysfunctional family dynamics (11.1M views). Paired with a recent cover of Radiohead’s Creep (1.8M views) - the internet can clearly see Annika has both unquestionable artistry, and an incredible story to tell.
